Travel Information

Visa Requirements

Indian citizens generally require a visa for a cruise to Mexico. However, there is a key exemption: you do not need a separate Mexican visa if you hold a valid visa or permanent residency from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, any Schengen Area country.

Major Airports

It depends on the specific port, but popular options are Cancun (CUN), Puerto Vallarta (PVR), Cabo San Lucas (SJD), and Mexico City (MEX) for interior embarkations, with MEX being central for the mainland but often requiring further travel to the coast. For Baja cruises, Tijuana (TIJ) is close to Ensenada.

Best time
to visit Mexico

May to June (Spring)

Spring offers hot but manageable temperatures and fewer crowds before the peak summer season. It’s a great time for sightseeing, local experiences and relaxed port visits.

July to October (Rainy Season / Summer)

Summer brings higher humidity and occasional tropical showers, especially along the coasts. The landscapes are lush, crowds are lighter and it’s a good season for value travel, though September is peak hurricane season.

November (Autumn)

November marks the transition to drier weather, with pleasant temperatures and fewer tourists. A wonderful time to cruise, enjoy cultural festivals and explore Mexico comfortably.

December to April (Dry Season / Winter)

This is the best time to visit Mexico, with warm temperatures, low rainfall, and sunny days. Ideal for cruising, beach escapes, cultural sightseeing and outdoor excursions.
