Visa Requirements

Indian citizens need a valid passport and an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to cruise the British Isles, even if they are not planning to disembark in the UK. An ETA is required for entry into the UK and is different from a traditional visa. Depending on the locations where the cruise will dock, visitors may need to obtain a visa in advance.

Major Airports

The nearest major airports to British Isles cruise ports depend on the specific port, but common options include Southampton Airport (SOU) for Southampton, London Heathrow (LHR) for London/Southampton, and Dublin Airport (DUB) for cruises departing from Ireland. For cruises from the English capital, major London airports like Heathrow (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW) are common, with Southampton Airport (SOU) being the closest to the Southampton port itself.
