Indian citizens must obtain a Schengen Visa (Type C) to join a Norway cruise, as Norway is part of the Schengen Area. A separate visa is required for the Norwegian territory of Svalbard, which lies outside the Schengen Area and a multiple-entry Schengen visa is needed to return to mainland Norway.
